My cat was separated from me a few years ago for a short period and started licking off her fur and scratching herself excessively. After several vet visits, the conclusion is that this behavior is anxiety related. This collar is the only thing that helps her. I've tried a different collar by another manufacturer since this was discontinued and it's not helping. Please bring this product back so my cat and others like her can get some relief. She is licking off all her fur again.

I can't find it anymore
Posted March 7, 2012
Is it true it's gone? This was the ONLY thing that would calm my special needs cat down :( He goes through these fits sometimes and the collar would relax him and keep him from being aggressive towards my other cats. Please bring this back or direct me to where I could find them.-Desperate Cat Parent

Thor is a very high strung cat and when we discovered this collar, the change in him was amazing!! He is not only very social when he has his collar, he is playful and loving. When his collar is due for a change, good luck finding him!! If he hears anyone at the door, all you see is a yellow blur dash up the stairs. I have tried other brands, sprays, and elixirs and NOTHING works like this product. I have searched high and low and this product is the only one that works!!!

Amazed!
Date:August 3, 2011
My dog was licking his front paws almost constantly, driving all of us nuts! I put this collar on him last night and have seen a dramatic difference. Also, he is terrified of thunderstorms ever since he was outside once during a really bad storm a couple yrs ago. He would never even go outside to potty if there was the slightest drizzle falling. Last night and this morning, it was drizzling and he went outside w/no problem!! It hasn't even been 24 hrs since I put the collar on, so I feel like I should reserve my judgement on it just in case there's some other explanation or his behavior changes back but I'm just so thrilled with this change, I can't hold back my enthusiastic praise for this product!! I only wish I had bought it sooner! Best 10 bucks I ever spent!

Anti Stress Calming collar
Date:July 7, 2011
We remodeled a house and moved a year ago. Seems our cat is possibly allergic to the carpet and has had to go get allergy shots on several occasions. She would lick and chew until she had bald spots and bleeding. She is absolutely traumatized by this and so hard to handle. The vet even suggested pills over shots now. After the last shot, we purchased your collar. The abrasions have healed. The fur grew back. And she has become a more loving cat. Now we are unable to find this product. We have purchased a different brand that just does not work as well. PLEASE KEEP THIS PRODUCT. We have also found that by washing bedding in lavendar detergent that helps as well. So in the end it may not have been an allergy but more stress with the move.

VERY disappointed!!
Date:June 17, 2011
Your collar is the ONLY product that my cat has responded too. She had eaten almost all her hair off, peed all over the place. Within a week of having the collar on, she stopped eating her hair and marking. Also stopped living under the bed. Now you're discontinuing it?! I am very upset. Why get rid of such a great product?

Response from ProPet:By Consumer Services, June 20, 2011
We are sorry that this product will no longer be available. It is scheduled for final discontinuation July 1st. You can still order it from one of our distributores, UPCO @ 800-254-8726. They sell it in bulk but as long as the package is not opened they are good. I know this is inconvenient and we are sorry for that. We are letting the company know of everyone's dissatisfaction over the discontinuation of the product.

Best Calming Collar Ever!
Date:June 11, 2011
Please reconsider keeping this on the market. It was the only thing that could keep my cat calm throughout the day. Sprays don't work. I've already purchased 5 collars from UPCO but I'm afraid if I purchase more they will be out-of-date. If you're no longer going to sell this please come up with another great alternative that can be worn all day long. Thanks

Great product

It works great, but I can't find the cat collar, lately.
Does the dog collar have the same ingredients? Can it be used on cats?
My cat has hyperthyroidism. The medicine combined with the collar works wonders, and I love the fact that it is natural.
Response from ProPet:By Consumer Services, May 18, 2011
Dear Consumer:
Unfortunately the cat collar has been discontinued. The dog collar cannot be used in place of it as the ingredients are different. The final discontinuation date on the cat collar is 7/1 and it can still be order through one of our distributors UPCO @ 800-254-8726. After that date however it will not be available any longer.

Cat Anti-Stress Collar
Posted May 18, 2011
I see you have discontinued this?
Why? It worked. It made a big difference in keeping our somewhat aggressive younger male from terrorizing our older more nervous male.
Is there any other solution being offered? I'm really not looking forward to going back to "try it and see" pet care shopping...
This product worked great for my cat's anxiety and stopped him from urinating in the living room. Just make sure you tighten the collar enough. We had to quickly cut the last collar off of him when he somehow got it past his chin and "caught" over his mouth and betweeen his teeth. My only complaint is that I cannot find this collar at Walmart anymore or any other store! It was obviously working for my cat too. Now that he doesn't have it, he started urinating in the living room again.

Actually works!
Date:February 26, 2011
Our cat displays several anxiety enduced behaviors, one of which is over grooming. This cat has completely removed her fur on her belly and legs. After one full month of wearing the collar, we noticed that her fur was growing back. A cheap and easy fix to a problem that has gone on for years. Now if we could figure out how to stop her from marking in my son's bedroom, that would make me very happy.

Why is the collar discontinued? I have been using the collar for three months for overgrooming; it's working better than anything else we've tried. Is there a replacement product that does the same thing?

My cat has been biting and hissing for over 10 years. We can't have too many guests because they are afraid of him. The second we placed the calming collar around him he instantly became calm. He even allowed our dog to jump on him which never happens and usually results in a bite. Thank You!!

Can't Live Without It

My Maine Coon licked about half of his beautiful coat off before I discovered this calming collar. Now he gets a new one every month, and his coat is once again thick and beautiful. It doesn't change his behaviour at all, except it stops the excessive licking. Works like a charm!

I didn't think it was working until I took i off
Date:October 21, 2010
I have a 5 year old female princess and a 7 month old stray wild man that we took in about 3 months ago. They were like oil and water from the word go. She just wants to be left alone, he just wants to play. All day and night. And of course, both wants to be the alpha cat but neither will back down. After almost 2 months of constant fights and fur flying, I saw one of these collars and figured it was worth a try. Titan (my boy) was somewhat calmer, and it seemed like they were fighting less, but he was also neutered around that time, so I figured it was mostly due to that. Well, 4 days ago, I decided it had been a month since I put the collar on and it had probably lost it's potency, so I took it off. Big mistake! Titan went right back to chasing Muffy all over the house, the fur was flying again, and he was back to destroying the house every chance he had. The alpha cat fights were on once again. I bought a new collar this morning and put it on him, and it's like he's a whole different cat. It somehow helps Muffy too, even though she isn't wearing one. 20 minutes ago I was laying on the couch with both cats on me, not 2 inches apart. No growling, no biting. I don't understand how these collars work, really. But they do work. 10 bucks a month is more than worth it for my and my cat's sanity!

What are the ingredients?
Date:October 11, 2010
Put the collar on my cat, 2 hours later I am digging for the box from the trash, searching for list of ingredients. My cat is obviously drugged, is staggering and sluggish and disoriented. I have removed the collar, and have wasted $8.97. Do Not use this product unless your intent is to put your animal to sleep.

It's really working!
Date:October 3, 2010
Our male cat, is slightly paranoid and afraid of the dark. He meows, this loud "meow" in the middle of night, walking up and down our hallway to where we are not able to get any sleep. He is stressed due to some abandonment issues from his past. I have used the calming spray, and it worked - but when I saw the collar, I bought it right away.
Its working. He's been wearing it for 2 weeks now, and he is mellow and sweet. I'm a believer and hope this product never goes away...we are finally getting some sleep.

Ingredients should be entirely listed
Date:July 20, 2010
I purchased this collar for my 5 year old cat. I was disappointed. It didn't help her at all and whatever was in the collar was reacting to her skin. She is all broke out now and itching. Once I removed the collar she finally stopped digging. She's worn collars before, the smell from this collar was intense. I think it is very important that the ingredients be listed on the box. Some animals might be alergic or have a reaction to something that is used to make these collars.

Became a Believer!!
Date:June 29, 2010
My 14-year old cat has been skittish and often completely neurotic about sounds, smells, and going outside. She was a rescued kitty and a bundle of nerves from the get-go. I saw the Calming Collar and decided to give it a try ... anything to help my feline friend. I figured I had almost no chance for success. Boy, was I wrong! She is very much improved, napping restfully, and now even sitting with me on the couch instead of hiding in the back of the bedroom. You would do yourself and your nervous kitty a gigantic favour to try this! Works wonders!

I have a 14 year old female who became aggressive and believes she's the alpha member of my multi-cat household when she turned 2. I put this collar on her and two of my males to help add a male kitten to my 7 cat household. It really does work. I saw immediate results.
